Peter Holt
A former molecular biologist who now practices intellectual property law with a focus on the issues raised by advances in biotechnology, Peter Holt is an experienced pilot and scuba diver, with underwater experience from the Aegean to the South Pacific and a significant interest in wreck diving; he also occasionally teaches scuba. He is a graduate of Dartmouth College, where he was involved in some of the first gene sequencing efforts in the country. He gathered information for his novel, CHROMOSOME 8 while living for a year on the South Pacific island of Tutuila. An award-winning short-story writer, he has published about a dozen stories in various national publications. He lives in Northern California and is working on his next novel. | |
